Bajo los soportales de la Rúa do Vilar, a escasos metros de la catedral, te encontrarás con este local cuyo nombre corresponde al de un famoso trovador gallego del siglo XIII. Sitio mítico en las meriendas de los compostelanos y lugar de tertulias por derecho propio: su encantadora situación, su amplio y cuidado comedor, reutilizando el antiguo patio de atrás, el Wi-Fi, sus helados, cafés, chocolates…incluso el correcto bufé libre a 7’50€; todo queda absolutamente ensombrecido por sus indecentemente exquisitas tartas caseras: de chocolate, de queso, de mousse de chocolate, de chocolate con queso…y sus tortitas, abiertas a infinitas combinaciones, todo repostería artesana sin conservantes ni edulcorantes de ningún tipo. Seguramente pecado si no se encontrara al lado de la catedral. Pensándolo dos veces…la tarta de chocolate y queso tiene que ser pecado.

In the Rúa do Vilar butter walk, within walking distance from the cathedral there’s a place whose name evokes the memory of the famous Galician troubadour of the XIII Century. Airas Nunes is charmingly located, offers a spacious cozy room, that has incorporated the backyard into the space, the WI-FI a good selection of hot and cold beverages and snacks, even an all-you-can-eat buffet at 7’50 euros…none of these amenities mean a thing when it comes to cakes. They have, by far, the best rich luscious home-made cakes in the city: chocolate, cheese, chocolate mousse, chocolate and cheese… not to mention its pancakes, with dozens of lavish combinations. Everything elaborated without preservatives or sweeteners of any type. If the cathedral weren’t so near I would definitely call it a sin. Thinking it twice, the chocolate cheese cake really has to be a sin.
